Skye View Villa - Glenelg

the location was perfect for relaxation and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. the house was equipped with everything I needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and spacious bedrooms. I especially enjoyed watching the sunsets from the comfort of the cozy living room. the area had plenty to offer, with local shops, pubs, and even a brewery nearby.

The lack of a swimming pool on the property.

We recently stayed at a stunning villa in Glenelg called Skye View. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The open plan layout and well-thought-out design made it easy to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. The spacious bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The hosts, Sarah and her family, were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely return to Skye View Villa.

Nothing to fault.

skye view was truly exceptional! exceeded all expectations. beautiful and cozy house with stunning views. hosts were attentive yet gave us privacy. beds were comfortable, kitchen well-equipped, and the fireplace added a charming touch. local area was breathtaking with plenty to do and see. would love to return!

Wifi signal was weak.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly hosts, Charlie and Sarah. They struck the perfect balance of being there for us while also giving us the space to enjoy our holiday. The house itself , with stylish decor and cozy furnishings. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, even better than our own! With two bathrooms and three toilets, morning routines were easy. And the large dining table with amazing views of the Isle of Skye made for nice mealtimes. The surrounding area was amazing, offering a multitude of activities and sights to explore. From the excellent village shop and local pub to the charming cafes and hand-made chocolates at Chocolates of Glenshiel, there was something for everyone. We were even treated to samples of local beers and chocolates upon arrival, a lovely touch.

The house was simply amazing, exceeding all expectations. It was huge and well-equipped, providing everything we needed. the local people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. the views from the property were breathtaking, and we were able to enjoy the stunning sunsets from the comfort of the spacious living room. the wood burner was a nice touch, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. the location was also fantastic, with a scenic drive through beautiful landscapes.

The only small inconvenience was the lack of an electrical plug near the mirror for drying my hair, but this was easily solved by bringing my own hair dryer.

our overnight stay at glenelg was peaceful and beautiful, but skye view villa exceeded our expectations. the house was spacious and had everything we needed, including a telescope that we loved. the view was exceptional, changing with the sunset, making it a perfect family getaway.

Mirror lacked an electrical plug.

Exceptional hosts, striking art, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, handy freezer. Breathtaking local area with great shop, pub, and cafe. Lovely handmade chocolates and beers waiting on arrival. Talented local craftswoman. Loved every minute in the Highlands, would definitely come back!

We got great value for our money at Skye View in Glenelg. The room was fantastic and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and plenty of nearby attractions. The staff were cute and friendly, making our stay more fun. Highly recommend Skye View!

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was if there were more vegetarian options available.

Being a tall person, the footpiece made it quite uncomfortable for me to sleep. Furthermore, the central heating system was not up to par, and we always had to rely on the log burner fire for warmth.

Telescope missing.

We stayed at Skye View and it was worth every penny! The room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was fine, with amazing views and plenty of things to see and do nearby. The staff were friendly and cute, making us feel right at home.
